I do not need one. I was just curious where it would be located. Because there isn't one under the rear seat. It sounds like I have the same things as you, with the exception of a son with a car addiction

Sounds like a hoarding problem. I'll be over to help clean out some of that mess for you.

I just give it a squirt of WD now and then use an old bottle of royal purple injector cleaner with the bottom cut off as a pre funnel. All the way in for the tank and about an inch for the overflow. The pre funnel approach is good for all gas cans or J can tubes . I’ve never found anything easier to get in it other than a gas pump .

Did some looking into and I am not sure how or why this fixes the problem.69301FA1-BDEB-4ACA-86E9-256153126A94.jpeg
The lope small tube (vent) goes to the top of the tank

If you blow on the Suply and plug the vent it comes out the fill.
there is no sealing of any of this.

all the sealing is done by the pop valve on the gas tank. I noticed this when I had the tank dropped.
so is the lube Running down the fill neck and helping the actual valve in the tank?
I cant for the life of me figure why lubing this part would help with anything it has no way to seal at all.
