I really don't know. Chris Prob could answer this he did convince me to buy them. I just never got around to putting them on. In sure they are cheaper then stock.

Shipping the boxes were 72 and 51 pounds...

The short answer is yes. One of the advantages of this package is the increased longevity. Improve braking performance for shorter stopping distance, eliminating brake fade are also major benefits over stock as well.
