This fits across top of dash and hooks in to edge of vent. I had it for about a year and it fit perfectly. It has double sided tape on inner edge for vent but I never used it. It's still covered with the factory seal over the tape.
This also has the mount, as can be seen, for a GoPro. That's a GoPro 8 on it.
