Not the same exact setup, but I have my outer ambers wired in to be my fog lights. Pointed outward and down a bit and have not had any issues. They aren't BD lights either so they're not nearly as bright, but definitely help a lot for everyday driving.

Finally got around to installing my lights. Nilight tube clamps (fits 1-2" bars) with Baja Designs Squadron Sport wide cornering in amber and Baja Design Designs Squadron Sport driving/combo white. Had to cut some small notches in the plastic valance for the clamps, but I'm really happy with the fitment with the lights up and out of harm's way. Also, made it much easier to hide the wires out of the way as well. Wired one set to Aux 2 and the other to Aux 3 after connecting the wires behind the glove box. These things are INSANELY bright.PXL_20210618_203936461.jpg

Longer term update on these - absolutely love them. I'm still amazed how freaking bright they are. The driving/combo in white are awesome supplemental lights to my Morimoto XB headlights and help fill in the short to medium range lighting well with the headlights covering the medium to long range lighting. I have a Rigid 40" light bar that sits behind the grill that gives a ton of short range lighting as well, but is reserved for off-road only as it easily blinds people. I also got to do an amazing test with the wider cornering amber lights when we had a massive downpour going down the highway at 65 and the white light was reflecting off the rain pretty badly. The amber lights easily cut through the rain and I was able to safely see. The Nighlite tube clamps are working perfectly as well. The truck is in the bodyshop currently getting a bunch of touch ups, one of which includes getting the cutouts I made for the tube clamps smoothed and painted. At this point I can't imagine having a better front lighting setup.
