front license plate on aftermarket bumper

Really ? the plate hardware also has larger washers that cover the bracket on the back

I'd like to see it go head to head with a dune, seems like it hangs too low and will just get bent on something like a dune or a snow bank!

I ran into the same problem with my ADD Stealth Fighter bumper. I live in Texas also, and as some have already spoken about, the cops here love to use no front plate as an excuse to pull you over.

See, that's interesting to me. I've lived in the Austin area for 10 years. I have never had a front plate, and never once been pulled over for it. In fact, only once have I been asked about it when pulled over for speeding.

I park in a lot with about 20 State Troopers so I think if they cared I'd have a ticket by now.

My guess is they just don't care one way or the other but you are leaving yourself open to get pulled over. If you don't mind then no problem as its also my guess that all you would have to do is get it mounted. The front plate mounts just fine on my add bumper though and doesn't detract from the aggressive look I was going for.

So to run with no plate will cost you $200 in Texas *IF you are pulled over and sighted. Least expensive mod you can do for your Raptor next to a stubby to drive it how you want LOL.

Ok then my license plate will be flattened against the skid plate....so ? Not sure how thats "not going to last long"

It will last and you will be just fine as long as you don't lawn dart into the ground then the license plate will be the least of your worries.
