Hello Guys, Sorry for the late reply.
we have been busy Due to high demand! Installation of this parts is very simple.
The fender vents are super fast to install just pop the OEM ones out and replace with ours they have 2 studs they mount to OEM slots no drilling required.
As for the hood vent it takes more time due to the double sided tape, However once off our hood vent also bolts up to OEM slots no drilling or cutting required.
Soon we will have more pics!
Let us know how we can help

Couple questions:

1) What size 2x2 twill is the carbon fiber?
All our Carbon Fiber products is made with 2x2 twill cross weave pattern [each square is roughly about 1/8" x 1/16"]. The exposed Carbon Fiber surface is UV clear coated and polished for a glossy finish, ready to install.

2) Can you make the side vents in full carbon fiber, with no fiberglass for added strength and lighter weight?
We aer currently making the Carbon Fiber side vents with fiberglass reinforcement layers only. Nonetheless, thanks to the vacuum bagging process applied on these parts, the fender vents are super light weight.

3) Do you sell or know where we can get replacement plastic hood vent clips if the factory clips break while removing the hood vent?
To our knowledge, the dealership we would be the best source for the plastic clips. Possibly some generic clips may do the job as well, but we haven't tested the hood vent with generic clips. yet

Thanks!

Thanks again! :)

Thanks again! :)

Thanks for the info. I had a few follow up questions though:

1) What size 2x2 twill is the carbon fiber?
-- I was specifically asking the size of the carbon fiber twill. Is it 6K, 12K, etc?

2) Can you make the side vents in full carbon fiber, with no fiberglass for added strength and lighter weight?
We are currently making the Carbon Fiber side vents with fiberglass reinforcement layers only. Nonetheless, thanks to the vacuum bagging process applied on these parts, the fender vents are super light weight.
-- So you mean you wont offer full CF in lieu of the fiberglass? Even for an additional cost? I am just curious, not that it matters, but on our performance cars we would only purchase full CF, but in this application I do realize these vents are strictly for looks.

3) Do you sell or know where we can get replacement plastic hood vent clips if the factory clips break while removing the hood vent?
To our knowledge, the dealership we would be the best source for the plastic clips. Possibly some generic clips may do the job as well, but we haven't tested the hood vent with generic clips. yet.
-- I have checked with Ford and unfortunately new hood vent clips are only available for $200 with the purchase of a new hood vent. I was curious if you had a source for your customer in the event that the clips break during removal. Not that you need all 16 anyway, but its good to know they can be sourced reasonably.

4) You mentioned this above:
The fender vents are super fast to install just pop the OEM ones out and replace with ours they have 2 studs they mount to OEM slots no drilling required.
-- The factory fender vents have 4 tabs with 4 clips. Are you saying the CF ones you sell only have/use 2 clips to attach them to the fenders?

I look forward to your reply!

Great questions! I am curious as well, especially regarding the extra clips for the hood. Maybe C7Carbon can get them easier than we can and sell them with the hood?

I am sure someone sells them in the aftermarket but I have not stopped by NAPA to search through all of their books.

A- We use a Military Grade Hexcel 2x2 Twill 3k 6ounce as our finishing fabric. We also stock a structual 12k for pure carbon fiber applications made with epoxy.

2) Can you make the side vents in full carbon fiber, with no fiberglass for added strength and lighter weight?

A- Because the part is so small and we manufacture all our products under closed moulding the weight savins is very minimal because the amount of resin used is very low. We can offer a pure carbon / epoxy blend for a higher price, but the savings would be in the ounces of weight.

A- We have installed several of these on local raptors and haven't had any issues with them breaking..

A- We found that having 2 studs that bolt to the fender vs clips are easier for manufacturing and install. We havent had any issues on our test raptor with this attachment method.

I look forward to your reply!

Thank you for the answers. It was what I was looking for. The 2 studs do sound like an easier solution.

I would curious the cost of all CF for both the fender vents and the hood vent. Feel free to PM me if that is easier.

You mentioned above you were already concerned with cost. You can buy a CF vent from them and not see any fiberglass. I was asking for a full CF with no glass, just because.

But I dont think this is what you are looking for. I would refer you to their website for pricing on their standard parts.

I was asking for a special item not listed on their website.

Agree Xtinct. Thanks! I am looking for just the standard products for improved looks, not performance. I will go to their website for pricing. Appreciate the clarification.
