Yup. They like to gather around and run in front of the vehicles when I move them, drive back to the barn, etc. Under 15 MPH is just fine as I am going slow anyway.
:waytogo:

did you see the low range part also? IIRC the dash showed 4wd, or ORM & rear locker to get the camera on. Not really modes you'll use for shuffling cars in the driveway.

idk why people buy either....
if you need a camera to park a truck then...... eh **** it....
Enjoy the truck! :)

Ya, some things are better left unsaid. This is a BIG 1/2 ton... backing into a space meant for a car and backing up to a trailer.

As for a front camera, I say why not?

I'm sure it won't be long before someone figures out the trick to make the front camera available whenever you want it...

I wonder how the front camera will hold up to frontal abuse - rock chips etc. Granted its a small target for a rock, but chances are...

1st mod on my truck I'm planning on a clear bra. I think I'll have the guy put a piece of clear bra over the camera lense, and that should do a pretty good job of protecting it.

I still got the front cam. I have zero use for it, but too unique of a feature to not get on my Raptor lol :ROFLJest: Plus as mentioned I'm sure somebody will come up with a workaround so it's useful more often.

On the clear bra, an even better product would be the windshield product that is similar to a clear bra, but its thicker, and meant to protect windshields from rock chips...and Is better to look through than clear bra (not sure on the quality of the camera Ford is using...so it may be a mute point...but its something you can look into while you are there.) Noteworthy- this product is not as widely used as clear bra material AFAIK.

Some of you fellows are a hoot! Me I ordered the front camera a. Cause I could b. cause I just love gadgets. Need it like I need a hole in my head. Need it to shoehorn an f150 into a parking lot that's funny..please stay away from parking an 18 wheeler, you can't do it No Camera! My first pickup had a foot dimmer switch bet that would confuse the hell out of some of you fellows. All this shit is nice to have and play with toys but reall do you NEED it? Hell no your Bad Ass 4x4 dudes ..wink wink!

The basic reason ford put a camera on the front was so when you went over a steep berm you can see what is on he other side of it so you don't have to get out and look. Sucks going up a steep hill all you see is Sky then drop off into a 20 ft hole. That's why it's for low speed use.
