Different strokes. (@Oldfart strokes his goats). I love the keypad. Use it often. I'd miss it. If I go for hike or run I prefer to leave fob in car. I don't use no app.

I thought I would use it when I hiked also, but I've ended up never taking the Raptor when I go hiking. The parking where I hike is pretty remote, so I end up using my Tundra for that. So far, I never used the keypad other than to make sure it works.

Well, I mean, you tend to keep stuff locked inside, not out.

Is the keypad that big a deal if you have the app on your phone?

I've had 4 trucks, my wife is on her 4th Lincoln, my kid is on his 2nd mustang and all of us have never used the keypad. Ever.

I have used the keypad a couple of times. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. I am really surprised how big of a deal not having a keypad is for some.

Not a deal breaker as long as the dealer installed option is clean. I prefer not paying for stuff I won’t use. But the Raptor is loaded with stuff I don’t want so this feels like I’m getting bent by Ford. Perception.
