I'm with you on this. I haven't been drinking long enough to taste the difference.

Cigars and Bourbon.. this is turning out well. I thought about going out of my way through KY just to stop at a still or 7

Ill bring some good stuff to the run. Probably will bring some Rock Hill Farms, but I promise to bring a good selection of quality stuff.

Check out the bourbon trail. It's fun. I'm very partial to Four Roses, but their tour was good too.

And if you didn't know, this Friday is national bourbon day.

Jack, btw, is not bourbon. I asked a waiter recently at a carrabas (not in KY), what bourbons they had. He said, "um, we have Jack Daniels, I'm not sure what else." I said, "go look at your Jack Daniels. If you can find the word bourbon on it, I'll buy the whole bottle."

For those with a less acquired taste, ill gladly introduce you to the joy that is Four Roses. Their cheap stuff isn't great, but it as good as the common stuff only cheaper. Their small batch is outstanding and about $30/bottle.

Nope. Aging properly in a charred oak barrel requires skill and knowledge I don't have. The master distiller earns his position.

9 years and I still haven't found any difference... Just the level of ass that differs when you trade up jack for some crown... Little slutty vultures.

Very nice, I am debating on bringing a keg. Still in the "damn i need to built one" phase of the kegarator. Just got into brewing my own beer and have so far been bottling it with great success. Just want to take it up a notch :signs1:

Oh and making one compact enough to fit in the bed comfortably with all my crap... might be a little undoable but hopefully I can find the time.

We had a keg of good beer at TRR, it worked out very well.

Well except for the cigars, I think I could bring some stuff you guys would like. Will check my collection. Good bourbon and scotch are a weakness of mine.

I don't drink very often or very much. But when I do, it is usually along the lines of a good backwoods style moonshine. Applepie is my favorite and I will have to bring a few quarts for everyone. But you really have to be careful with it, it goes down so easy and smooth, you're knee-walkin' in no time flat...lol
