I, too, am researching the necessary (and nice to have) mods. Bed mounted tire is what I am looking at now. Would like to keep it flat so tonneau cover can keep things dry. Also, researching offroad navigation for iPad.

Ha ha...yeah..not my best use of the English language...I was was looking at WSI and Saints for Chase Racks...also looking at handheld VHfFs, Is their an offroad maps app for the iPad iPhone?

Yes Fred Motion X GPS is what I last used for ipad, but I am now looking for one for android because I no longer use apple.

Just downloaded MotionX HD app for iPad for $1.99

Found a thread on the Snowball where FRF members used sucessfully. Downloading Rausch Creek map tiles now. We shall see; but can't go wrong for 2 bucks.

Just keep it concealed and it doesn't matter if there are or not. I never travel unarmed (ie- vulnerable). I think to do so is foolish.

If its concealed, nobody knows its there. If you need it, you won't care that everyone knows you had it.

Motion X works well on my phone for hunting, etc. Havent used it yet for my truck.
