So atleast 12 people are camping at Rausch creek. Good to know. Are there any advantages to camping at the other campgrounds. I assume they might have showers atleast.

The only showers is rain. The advantage is you get to party at the park after your done driving and when you wake, your already there

My plan on camping has changed a bit. I have been invited to join a group that is camping at Eco Valley. This group has showers in their camper so yeah, I know Cullen would feel better about using the shower of someone he knows over a public "trucker shower"...lol

That being said, I figured I would announce this since it happened yesterday. I was invited to become a member of Team FYF. I am not normally a joiner of teams like that, but the guys figured out that I am getting all of my unused spares from Team FYF members and they are all customers AND friends. So, because they are such great guys to offer those unused spares for the price they did shows me that, all crap talking aside, they are a great group of individuals that I am proud to be associated with. So, let's go Team FYF! All I need now are my Team FYF avatar and magnet placard for the truck! Glad to be a part of the team and look forward to having a great time getting to know you guys at the event!

For those that haven't seen it yet. I now have new help at Freedom Motorsports. This person is a member of the forum and will be at Havoc. At Havoc we will reveal who it is, he/she will be helping me man the Freedom Motorsports booth. All that being said, we are having a fun little contest to see if anyone out there can guess who it is. We will not reveal the answer until Havoc, but go ahead and check the thread below if you haven't already and take your shot at guessing the answer. I may drop hints at some point, but for now it is just too much fun seeing who everyone thinks it might be.

Hey guys.... I'm Jonny V from south florida and Im looking into registering for this ride. I know my window to sign up is about to close but I have a few issues....

Issue 1. I'm waiting to hear from a guys selling a tailgate tire rack since my truck doesn't meet the standards. If it works out I'll be picking it up on the way up. He is in NC so as I pass there i'll just stop and pick it up.

Issue 2. I cant find anyone that would want to join me so I don't have a passenger and I kinda don't want to go up alone.

I hope it all works out for me to go...

I am traveling up there from Raleigh if ya want to convoy up. There is another thread about meetups for traveling to havoc. If ya got a radio I will be monitoring the channels or pm me for info since I am about at your halfway point.

Jonny,

Don't let the no co-pilot thing bother you. I only had a co-pilot on 1 of my 4 runs this year and my very first run was solo.

Jason is 100% correct, its nice to have a friend/family member with you, but certainly not required. You may be solo, but I promise, you will not feel alone. The social aspect of these runs is awesome!

While there is benefit to having a co-pilot....there is also benefit of not having someone in the passenger seat constantly screaming in fear too....

I hope you can make it! :headbang:

The required items list is not onerous at all. Determine what you need, ask for help here and sign the heck up!!
