Great idea, but I have to pass - I don't care for polyester (it doesn't care for me either) and would much prefer a shop shirt. In cotton. Sorry...

Same here. Had a bad experience with an oxy-acetylene torch years ago and discovered the bonding properties of polyester and human skin. I swore it off ever since. It's cotton polos at work and cotton t-shirts everywhere else.

So not surprisingly, making everyone happy will not happen. Lets pick a shirt/design and get them ordered.

I would prefer a button-up, but I don't really care.

If cotton would appease the majority I can switch it. I understand the fire hazard concern but cotton shirts also don't last as long and they usually don't have the same comfort. If I catch on fire while wearing this polo I probably will have bigger problems than worrying about it melting to my skin.

I'm going to keep the shirts as they are for now but if another member would like to head up a group buy for a different shirt I'd be more than happy to orchestrate it through my contact. Now that the embroidery setup fee is taken care of any shirts after this (as long as there are at least 6) will just be the cost of the shirt and embroidery fee depending on quantity.

Does the place we're ordering them from not make any out of cotton? Besides, these are forum membership shirts, wear them to runs and stuff and keep your work shirts for work

They have tons of options. Just no shop shirts.

I will contact her and make sure there isn't an issue with multiple different types of shirts. If not, I will find a cotton polo and make that an option. I do not foresee an issue with this I was just trying to keep it simple. There is no quantity discount on the shirts themselves, just the embroidery so putting as many shirts on the order as possible is the best route.

I will also contact her about providing her with a shirt and see what the process is for that. Worst case I place a bulk order from dickies and have it sent straight to her. I'll give an update tomorrow.
