So now I am a “****” and a “Bully”. Wow never saw that coming. I really suggest you educate yourself about topics before you start talking shit. People have asked for opinions and I have given them. I have written pros and cons about all the shocks. Do I like the Fox shocks, no. Are they an improvement over stock, yes. Are there better shocks out there, yes. (King and Icon in my opinion).

I also have never bullied anybody on here and find that comment very disrespectful and to call me a ****. I will just leave that one alone because I have never been the type to hide behind my keyboard and fight with people.
You are right about one thing, this whole shock issue is a mess. There will never be an unbiased test performed. All the trucks that run these suspension have different mods to perform the way the owner wants. Therefore, to get stock trucks and swap out suspension in the desert is not a reality.

I spend many hours and miles in my truck using it for what it is designed for and also push it far beyond what it designed for. Therefore I feel I may be able to offer some help to people who ask/need it. If you have X shock on your truck and it works for you good. But then don’t ask for an opinion and get offended when someone doesn’t like your X shocks. You asked for an unbiased report between the brands and then say mine between Icon and King means nothing to you. Maybe to somebody else it did. For most people out there spending $5,000 on a set of shocks is a huge investment and they are looking for input.

I ran the Kings on my truck for over a year. When I started seeing what was available out there I started to consider switching. I rode in and drove all three brands and decided to switch to Icon. If I didn’t think they were superior, do you really think I would drop $5,000 for a second time? What more of an unbiased opinion do you want?

And you missed my whole point. Read back what you wrote if you don't think your acting like a jerk and a bully. The **** comment was aimed more at others at the time, but it appears to have hit an appropriate target regardless.

I'm sure that plenty of people are interested in your opinion on switching from king to icon, but I'm not and if you can recall anything beyond your self righteousness, my original comment that you took offense to, was telling someone how interested I was in hearing his opinion between fox and icon. i never asked for your opinion. Your response to that was to tell me to read up on the topic because you did it. We don't have kings, and they aren't on our radar. Point me to someone who has switched from fox to icon and I'll gladly read it, but all this, get yourself educated, you need to read up stuff must be just you're way if trying to feel superior?

I'll admit that I know barely anything about this, but that's why we are supposed to have awesome threads on this forum. The honest truth on why we have fox is because of opinions on this forum, back when I was just trying to buy my man something nice for his birthday. But that was also back before all the animosity and bullying. Now I'm actually part of the community here and as such I'm saying that this mess is all ******** and I'm sick of it.

We are happy with our set up and our vendor. I want no frigen part of this crap going on or this argument with you.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, your opinion matters, truely, but it would come across a whole lot better without the attitude.

And justvettin, I suggest people talk to the vendors themselves so they can form their own opinion of them, I do this because of this mess, and because its important to me to like the vendor as a person, I guess I'm old fashioned in that regard, but another reason is for the exact reason you mentioned. If someone is bashing others, that leaves a bad taste doesn't it?
