Got plugs changed out this morning. I pre gapped new plugs the day before at .028 . Was on way to getting them changed out in record time 20 min. Ran into driver side front plug #4 stock coil would not pop off . After tugging the boot came off coil end . Boot was stuck on plug still. I was able to remove boot with some needle nose pliers had good teeth on it. All 3 drivers side plugs were loose . Took no torque at all to loosen . Passenger side plugs were much tighter. I installed ngk ruthenium ltr7bhx one step colder than stock. Old plug were pretty ugly from boostane I ran over summer months. Stock plugs gaps measured at .030 thousands. Stock plugs 16,000 miles. I also installed msd coils .msd gets a bad rap , I had a set on my my 14 eco and never had a issue with reliability even in insane 120 degree summers. Using a volt meter and measuring ohms between stock coils and msd there is a difference in ohm readings. Truck runs and idles smooth feels good. I will run another dragy run sometime this week see if it took another .10th off the quarter-mile time. Next on list garret intercooler and ams boost tubes . I have off 2 weeks for vacation at Thanksgiving. Then on to stage 2 cobb . Then goosetune.

Link below on gen 1 msd coils worth 9 hp on a 3.5.

Have you try out ford performance cold spark plugs m-12405-35t ? If you have what do you think about them ?
They are decent plug , that is same plug Ford GT uses. 35t's one step colder than stock f150 plug. I used them on my 2014 tremor. I have some left over from that truck.
