I forgot to save the default value...
can anyone tell me what the default value for DSP 783-01-01 is?

I disabled fake engine noise by changing ACM and DSP and was curious about re-enabling it.

If you want to re-enable it, you can just use the sections that are not the "AS-BUILT" for those modules. (i.e. the ones where you just choose normal language coding like - "Enable" / "Disable" / etc.).

Here is what is listed as the values in that Module (DSP):

Good luck.

thabks for the reply. Yes i did enable it but seems like it is still disabled. I am assuming because of the DSP value. But not sure what the first set of value should be

Actually it is enabled/affected in about 3 modules if I recall. Open each module, and in the "Search" field at the top, search for "sound" and or "enhancement" and/or "engine" and you will find about 2 or 3 that need to be adjusted. Then it will work...Or not work depending on what you want.

OP, I'm curious. It sounds like you prefer the engine noise to be on. I personally haven't messed with mine, but I know disabling it is a common mod. I too have wondered if I would actually miss it. What was your experience?

I have turned mine on and off a few times and even with different exhaust systems installed, and quite honestly I cannot tell any difference (maybe I am just deaf, or not listening?). The only thing I have noticed is WHEN you turn it on or off, you get a pretty loud POP through the speakers as it changes modes.

Others may have different experiences, but I personally think it is minimal change, if at all. Maybe I will try it again now to see if I pay close attention, if it will be any different.

The only way I was able to tell the difference was with the stock exhaust, and everything off; climate, radio and anything else that will make noise. Back to back after disabling engine noise, I thought the engine actually sounds a little different in a positive way, but I noticed some more low level stuff - vibrating coins that created a minor buzzing sound, stuff that was loose in the cab seemed just a touch more audible sometimes. You have to really listen for this stuff, the climate fan on setting 1 is enough to cover most of it. Volume level 4 is enough to cover it as well.

I doubt there’s any way I could discern the difference with an exhaust; currently running AWE 2FG, which is 8-10 db louder than stock.

I never reenabled it but with a stock exhaust, and if super quiet was my driving concern I would consider reenabling it.

Good info, guys. Thanks. I plan to continue my tactic of just not worrying about making this Forscan change.

Looking for some Forscan help. We have 2 customers with 2020 F150's that have added tow mirrors. Their original mirrors had BLISS in them. The new mirrors don't. Now every time they start their truck they get the message that BLISS is unavailable.

We have searched the posted PDF's that we can find but don't see a way to disable the BLISS. Does anyone know if that is possible and if so, where I can find the info?

My guess would be here:

I'd recommend searching or creating a post on F150forums as I doubt many here have added tow mirrors or needed to disable BLIS
