Does Ford Service have the computer equipment to make many of these changes?

Disable auto start/stop
Double horn honk
Door ajar warning chime
Engine /transmission temp values above gauges
Disable fake engine noise

Thanks.

Yes, they do, however they may be unable or unwilling to implement some of the changes. disabling the fake engine noise also turns off noise cancellation, but some of us have been successful getting the dealer to turn it off, for a fee. Engine and trans temp are fairly non controversial.

double horn honk, I’m not sure about.

door ajar chime could present a safety risk, and disabling auto stop/start may impact economy.
Probably not big deals to us, but, if some kid falls out of a vehicle because a driver didn’t realize the door was ajar, you can bet there’s a lawyer eager to sue. stop/start should be something they would do but I’m not sure they’d do it. if there’s some CAFE or EPA reg, or which could get them sued or fined, I can see where it might be an issue.

I could give on the door chime but the others are pretty important to me. I do not have the equipment needed to use Forscan. Plus, I'm not really all that computer/tuner savvy and I'd hate to learn through trial and error on my new truck.

I'll probably try and talk a dealer into making some of the changes.

I had my dealer turn off engine noise via the IDS menu - does this also turn off noise cancellation? 100% positive? How can I check?

pretty sure this is indicated in the forscan “cheat sheet” or spreadsheet.

Where do you live? Might be someone here who could help you out.

I'm in Florida until early June. I appreciate the offer and will reach out to you once I'm back in Denver.

Thanks!
