Convenience for me, annoying to have to hit the manual heated seat button then search the menu for the HSW. Instead of having them both right on the home screen. Also the "real estate" it takes up is just your phone connection block is made a bit smaller which is a block of information that does not provide much function nor is it hindered by adding everything to the home.

But if you want to add just he HSW the code would be 7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx x4xx in the APIM.

Thanks for the insight. I guess I never considered folks may want to throw all three heated items on at the same time..that's the logic I was missing. That said, I haven't played with it much but I thought one could customize the home screen to show what is wanted? Perhaps not and the real estate thing is moot.. Speaking of moot....all this heated crap..I do live in FL :)

Perhaps you didn't see my posts earlier in this thread...but of course I read the spreadsheet and the suggested value of 4....however it doesn't work to add just the HSW on the home screen. My truck actually came with a value of 4 in that field from the factory...and of course no hsw on home screen...so no amount of changing it to 4 has changed anything. I'm wondering if the value on the spreadsheet is incorrect for our trucks...or if ANYONE has been able to display JUST the heated steering wheel icon.

Doesn't the steering have a physical button for the heat option? I am not following why you need to place it on the home screen of the infotainment also.

I can't find the option to display boost psi (actual value over graph). Has this been found yet?

Anyone want to hear what a ****** V6 sounds like make sure you disable the engine noise option...

That's going back on today, will try it off again when I get a different exhaust system but as is it is very painful to hear.

Never been in or near a Subaru with an aftermarket exhaust?
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had 2, both good cars, but man... that flat 4 sounds like $hit. I’ll take the Raptor over that any time.

Now... to be fair, 500+ hp makes the sound far less relevant. I got a ride in a 500 horse wrx and it was pretty quick. It didn’t sound good but I found myself not caring much.

Sorry missed your last post about it I will try it later today and see if mine does it. I know by default the HSW is not on the home screen but when its on the ICON displays in the top corner. Maybe it is in regards to that...

Their is not physical button for the HSW only in the climate settings of the Sync3

STI's sound good IMO, but unequal length headers....

Just a shock from that feature on to off, the radio makes all the sounds which is severely disappointing. I know its a V6 but still, many automakers make them sound good especially for the given power output. It is possible, seems like ford just did not care that much and let the stereo do all the work which seems like the easy way out.

neighbor’s brand-b 3 series has v6 turbo with “augmented” engine sound. inside it sounds fine. Outside... well, at least it’s quiet.

Seriously though, lots of manufacturers are doing this same stuff on more and more cars.

Maybe I am alone but I love the ej25 flat four sound. The gen2 doesnt sound that bad to me. It's not great, but not nearly as bad as some make it out to be.

Question? I did not see if anyone asked if this program voids the warranty on the truck like a tune?
