I'm trying to decide whether or not you are being facetious... where do you even get e-30? And I'm not a big fan of having to run a fuel in my truck that the truck's manual says I have to flush with every other tankful.

Just curious. Are you a corn farmer? Own stock in corn? Because as a fuel, ethanol is a very poor energy choice.

Yep farmer and we farmers are more energy efficient than you think.
What do you do for a living?

I have a lot of respect for your profession, just don't like using a food crop for energy.

Yellow corn is not a food crop. It's used for feeding cattle and other animals. Making ethanol you only use the starch the rest is used for animal feed called ddg dried distillers grain.

Yes, but it occupies ground and consumes water that could be used to raise a food crop. I would rather we look elsewhere for our energy needs.
