When Ford introduced F150 in 2011 many sceptics and naysayers didn't believe Ford could compete. Now they were proven very wrong as Ford has sold 500,000 F150 pickups, all powered by EcoBoost V6. Ford has done this in just over three years.

It's amazing. How they did it?

I dont mind the ecoboost name but they are really messing up naming the new 2015 2.3L turbo a ecoboost mustang and not the new SVO or ST mustang.

Icecobra who has? Look at what's happening with GM on the seat belt and ignition issues. Still Ford trucks have a very good loyalty. don't they?

When Ford can show the trucks that have been produced turning 500,000 miles with no issues then I will be a believer.... Ford has not had the best track record with Turbo charged motors...

I don't know of very many gasoline engines that can consistently make it to 500k. That's Diesel engine territory.

I agree... I think the 200K range is much more feasable... but I havent read about any hitting anywhere near that yet.
