Talk about things that are probably never going to be helpful- remote tire pressure monitoring

The only benefit I could see is if you got a flat and the app warned you so you would know before the next time you got in the truck. Not sure if it would do that but I know it pushes warnings to the app when they happen in the truck. ie. when I was having issues with my ACC sensor it would trigger in the truck as a warning then I would get a notification in the app.

Same thing happens with the tire pressures. If any tire is low enough to trip the light in the truck, you get the notification in the app. It works fine, just doesn't give the actual numbers in the app.

Tire pressure isn't really accurate until you have driven up to 2 minutes over 20mph according to the app and owners manual.
What I find odd is I set my pressure cold at 38psi and I haven't driven it much in two weeks due to the stay at home order and all 4 are showing 35psi now and it isn't even cold outside. I've never seen where all 4 tires lose pressure unless its really cold outside so the app must be wrong or I need to drive it to get a new reading.

So does the app just show you whatever the last reading was when the truck was running or does it constantly tell you whenever you refresh. Seems if your truck sits awhile that communication is going to be a power drain and it will eventually need to shut off to conserve the battery.

Individual tire pressure is only available on the 19/20 Raptors. In 2019 and 2020, Raptors came with the Hotspot ability. The antenna used for the hotspot is used to transmit TPMS values.

Hotspot was not available in 2017 and 2018 Raptors.

Interestingly enough, the 2018 F150 came with the HOTspot option and thus it has the ability to transmit TMPS values. I am not sure why Ford did not equip 2018 Raptors with this functionality.

2018/2019 too
