Pretty sure we will see a lot of this happening within the next decade, prices at the pump just went up here again yesterday and with Trudeau pushing ev's and loving his carbon tax for revenue, prices of gas are only going up. Sweet build!

I really doubt that. These are project cars, right? People are rebuilding them for fun, not as replacement for their daily drivers.

I would agree that it's quite possibly more fun to convert to EV than an ICE motor, since meaning the older parts and removed and no longer relied upon, but I don't see Joe Plumber trading his 2019 F150 for a 2000 F150 w/EV motor and a 150 mile reange.

We are actually agreeing on the same thing here. Project cars being converted into pro
touring ev cars instead of stock cars with bigger gas engines! People love their classic musclecars, etc, putting ev kits in them only makes sense for those that want to drive them farther than the "cars and coffee" meets. This will be the next evolution of car building. This truck isn't the first either, it is just the first for Ford, offering an alternative to one of its Ford performance crate engines. They will sell lots of these kits.

I also think that the majority of owners of these converted vehicles will most likely have a factory EV sitting at home for the really long commutes or vacations.
