He may be getting 18 @ 75. Pure highway. I can drive mine on the easier side and get 17 with a combination of city and highway @ 75mph on average. It would be mostly highway though.
So it doesn’t seem like it’s a far out mileage dream story.
Smurfslayer: Complaining about Gen 1 Raptor owners and a mythical bigfoot since 2017.
Yeah, it went from the 7.3 to complaining and bragging about mpg.
You’re complaining and bragging about mpg’s in the wrong forum, you need to be in the Jennifer section One and ONLY gas mileage thread please
OGs: complaining about fuel economy in a Raptor since 2010
MPG arguments are a waste of time. There are too many variables to consider when doing the math. You would think that everyone can do the hand calculation right, but there are variables in that too such as when do you click the pump off. The only thing you can use your particular mpg calc for is to know if the engine is having a problem.
Moving on, I am curious to see the 7.3 come to the f150, and in what trim. That is inevitable, and what Ford has done in the past. There is quite a bit of power to be had from it - will be a great opportunity.

I got mid to high 16s out of my Raptor on open flat highway at 75. Fact.
13.5 all day every day! Let the Prius owners worry about saving gas!I dont disagree, but more often than not, mpg claims are usually exaggerated on the high end. People love to claim they get great mileage "all day long".
I could careless what anyone thinks about my gas mileage, it's a Raptor. I got mid to high 16s out of my Raptor on open flat highway at 75. Fact.
