I'm just not understanding how he is saying he beat #8117 when he had a DNF??

Lots of silt beds, people get stuck lots of times down there. You get pulled out, then you return the favor.

Yes this is very common. You will rarely see trophy trucks pulling people out, but for the most part everyone is more than willing to help other racers. Alot of the help comes from the chase crews, teams usually have 3-6 4x4 chase trucks able to lend a hand.

He clarified for me and said the scoring shows as Dnf for him but he has credit that's not being considered so he hit up SCORE about it. So that makes more sense now.

The Raptor finished within something like 52 seconds of the 36 hour time limit. Brandon Walsh in the Class 7 truck (which is titled Unlimited V6 Truck) may have physically finished in front of the Raptor. But did not finish in the 36 hour time limit, Resulting in a DNF for 701.
