Ford Raptor R will have the 5.2L Predator v8!

On their announcement of the 2022 Ford Raptor R, they mentioned that it may have the 5.2L Predator v8 in it! Its the 5.2L Supercharged V8 Coyote variant, codenamed the Predator that is now in the Shelby GT500s!

Hope they go with it!

I have a 2021 GT500 and I am really interested to see what the Ford Performance Engineeers can do with the Predator in the Raptor R. It is so brutally powerful, fast and loud as all hell. Plus the DCT gearbox is amazing with it. Will Raptor R have a tremec 7 sp DCT or the 10 spd. Can't wait to see the specs.

The Raptor exceeds the Tremec 7 speed’s maximum GVWR specification, so I would count on the 10R.
