My no. 27 melted so bad, a dealer relocated it outside the box in the remote waterproof fuse holder. This was a fix to get me back on the road as I was about 1000 miles from home.

The box on top is a Blusea terminal block. I have additional accessories run to it like bed lights and a CB and my vhf radio.

If we don't get a notice or find a recall for our VIN does that mean we are good to go?
Noooooo.... be sure to carry a spare fuse. And of it does on you for no reason and then only cranks and cranks.... check fuse 27 first.

The fuse box must he high resistance for that circuit. Amazing that this isn't a recall. Has anyone heard more details on the exact failure in the box? Maybe a connection between the wires and the fuse terminals for #27 that gets corroded?
