Just got the truck back today after the relocation kit was installed. Had to pull someone out of a ditch so my truck sat at an angle for a little while. Drove it just fine for about 15 min after that and all the sudden, low oil pressure lift came back on, power steering locked up. Had to put it in park and restart. Any ideas? Not fuse 27

You think there's a bad fuel pump? Second time to happen to me in two weeks - first time was after taking a u-turn basically. Then the dealer did the TSB.

I'm having the dealer flush everything tomorrow and checking the fuel pump. Anything else while I'm there?

Checked the first time and today- about 7/8 on the stick. Plus it was 10-15 minutes (driving the whole time) after being in a slanted elevation today when it happened.

Out of the blue this morning- truck would crank but no start. Found this thread, got home from work and voila! Fuse is melted and new fuse means truck starts just fine.

My truck already had a 20amp fuse, which makes me think it may have happened to previous owner.

Guess it's time to do the permanent fix.

Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread.

Just to let you know, Ford denied my warranty claim. I was over by 3 months and about 1,000 miles. So, I started an action against them for a defective product. They decided to fight me over the $400.00 repair. I agreed to binding arbitration and Ford sent an attorney and we met with the arbitrator.

To make a long story short. The arbitrator ruled in my favour and Ford has to repay me the cost of the repair. The product is defective. The fuel pump wiring circuit can not handle the draw of some of the fuel pumps - their fault. I won.
