Who cares? So what, I enjoyed watching it and I wouldn't care if it came in last place, it was a proto-type then and it finished. Enuf said.

Technically it was the first raptor, so it was the real raptor, all ours are fakes, but compare a long travel sprung truck to a linked truck and tell me they're close performance wise

I enjoyed the video, there's no mistaking that… However (don't ya hate "however's, but's, and although's") I feel it would've actually meant FORD accomplished something using FACTORY steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems. Doing only the bare minimum requirements to pass tech even finishing last would say more IMO.

still just saying a truck backed by one of the biggest car companies decided not to link the truck and throughout the movie they wernt there to race just finish it with all its body panels intact. they did well for that mentality at 3rd place but id want to see them push the truck to the limits for the video.

technically the first raptor was already made the raptor r in baja was like the 10th one. the first raptor was shown in the video and was the body style before ours.

Their mentality as portrayed in the video came across as though they were racing a factory Raptor with the only upgrades being a cage and a few minor trinkets, BUT in reality it was a whole another beast. How I took it anyway.

Agreed. Our trucks are as close to the Raptor R as The Raptor R is to those linked trucks.

Couldn't agree more.

You're spot on IMO. That's the way I took it. They could have just used a regular F150 with a 6.2 since they scrapped everything that makes a Raptor a Raptor. Unless that wasn't after market glass.

Nice movie but clearly we can see that it's not the stock raptor, this is a good marketing video a bit disappointing when they saying a Raptor right from the factory can do/did the Baja, but it's not true, far from the truth!
