I would like to hear an install of the touring system w/ resonator. I spend too much time in vehicles and don't care for the drone.

from my understanding the touring sytem is the same as mine just with a resonator. I will let you know how loud it is within the cab, ill do a video too.

I had a 99 steeda mustang drop top with full exhaust so i know what drone is and will report back after install.

Ok here is the way to go. If you have the stock exhaust system, and want to buy the FOrd Racing Cat back , but don't know which one to go with , the touring with resonator, or the sport, without, I suggest you do what I did .

Order the sport system from Tom at AMP performance( if you want). You already own a resonator in a perfect mid pipe from the factory. Install the sport system ( keep your stock resonator pipe) with the resonator delete straight pipe and drive it around,

on your drive around take the mid pipe that has your resonator on it to a good muffler shop. Have them cut off the clamp end and weld a small section of straight stainless on the pipe so it fits into the FRP y pipe.

Now for about $20 bucks you have the luxury of having 2 systems in one, when you want to switch between the straight pipe or your resonator you can, and you can also drive and compare both, with and without the resonator.

I drove mine around with the delete pipe for a while, and now I'm driving it around with the resonator pipe installed, real easy to switch between the 2.

Here are the pics.

This one is the delete pipe from FRP in the sport system, this replaces you mid pipe with the resonator.

This is the modified factory resonator mid pipe, you can see the extra straight section the performance shop welded on after they cut off the clamp on the factory mid pipe .

Theses are the 2 you swap out to hear the difference and see which one you prefer!

I like the sound of the factory resonator modified for length mid pipe ,sound is great when you get on it, and just idling around its nice and quiet but a much deeper burble, no drone!
but it's nice to be able to put on the sport straight pipe as well and rage!

Hope this helps some not fear a FRP. Sport system. Because for $20 bucks you own the touring system as well.

That's a good idea. I can do that mod myself.
