My 24 does this too. Radio stays on weirdly long….much longer than previous raptorsI will look and see when mine updated, could be some weird timing. Thanks for the response!

Noi heard no
when this came out, i heard no one say they wanted it for the trans tune. if it was 750 hp and no trans tune u would not buy it?
Why would Ford push better numbers on a newer year model with more powertrain warranty leftover when they are the exact same powertrain? If anything they'd gladly give the 2021s an extra 100 HP lolhearing the MY24 tune is pushing better numbers then the 21-23 tunes, and this is why it isnt released yet. they are waiting on EPA approval to release.
I agree that some caution is warranted if going this route. Probably unwise to just plug it in on top of the FP tune and run any kind of aggressive settings. However, the JB4 has wide parameters, so the settings can be made to work on a truck with a tune just as well as a stock truck. One could start off with the JB4 settings at nominal (no fuel, timing, boost changes downstream from the ECU) and work from there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Burger folks are already working on a calibration for this specific application. This is not a good idea. The Burger “tuner” is not a Calibration at all. The device manipulates data going into the ecu to increase power. All of the “map” settings are based on the factory calibration. If that calibration is changed, the burger could create a situation that can result in catastrophic engine damage (and it would not be the fault of their device). I don’t recommend playing “electronic chemistry” set with devices and calibrations. It’s best to pick a lane…
To encourage 2024 MY purchases and to compete better with the new RHO.Why would Ford push better numbers on a newer year model with more powertrain warranty leftover when they are the exact same powertrain? If anything they'd gladly give the 2021s an extra 100 HP lol
Ehhh. I wouldn’t think too much into it. Ford isn’t going to bank on selling trucks, and then an accessory tune, just to say they make as much or more HP than a Ram. They are selling as many raptors as they can build and 99% of customers won’t be cross shopping another brand over a few HP here or there. The accessory stuff is meant for the niche. To encourage 2024 MY purchases and to compete better with the new RHO.

Mind giving us a clue where you heard that from?hearing the MY24 tune is pushing better numbers then the 21-23 tunes, and this is why it isnt released yet. they are waiting on EPA approval to release.
