Ford Performance Tune for Gen 3s

Just did mine today. It's noticable, and I'm happy with it. It's not going to make you say holy shit, but the truck does feel more responsive. The transmission is much better, and what's most noticable with the tune. The money was worth it for that alone and for the $700, I'd recommend it if you're on the fence.

Yes, it's very straight forward. 15 min max. Just need the procal and your laptop. Anyone who can dress themselves can do the install. Don't give a dealer your money to do it.

Basically the same experience here. Really enjoy the truck now. The 10-speed performs much better and it feels like the shift points are finally dialed in with this tune. Probably something Ford took really seriously. The truck has a noticeable seat of the pants performance increase IMO, which may have a lot to do with how a little more power under the curve is coupled with the new 10-speed map.

Probably worth mentioning I'm in TX running 93.

Just clarify, this warranty would start from the date this tune was installed by dealer…OR, the in-service date when you purchased the vehicle?

That's the only reason I'm considering it...when the great state of California will let me get it.

Wonder if I can get it in Las Vegas?...

No, you can feel that it's added power. Its just not holy shit different.
Pedal commander always felt like it just took lag out. Like when I pushed the throttle there wasn't that second needed to decide what to do.
The tune is much more linear. My only complaints about the truck were that sometimes it felt like it took a couple seconds once it decided to move to actually get out of its own way.
With the tune it not only responds better to the throttle, the fat girl can dance.

Oh I know I can get one, but knowing my luck, something will happen and the warranty will be denied by the dealer.
