That is a very good question. I’m not sure. I’m going to use the top to fill it from. Hope that’s the right level.

Doesn't look like it holds more fluid, like the AFE one or the Mag- Tec.
And I love the site glass on my AFE, magnetic plugs, dip stick.

You don't.

Bottom hole to pump. Pump to cooler. Cooler to one of the two top holes. The other top hole is for filling/checking/topping off the diff with the cooler plumbing installed. Have to compare to a stock cover as to which top hole is used for filling. Probably the lower one. You want the oil returning from the cooler to freely drain back into the housing.

So I got it installed. I filled using the top hole and had to use 6 quarts of oil. So this cover almost doubles oil capacity.

On another note one of the bolts it came with broke tightening it down. Luckily it is above the fill line. So I just tightened the rest and filled it up. I will mess with extracting it another time.

I don't believe you should fill to the top hole, the rear end fluid should not be filling up the tubes to the wheel bearings.
I believe there should only be about a 1/4 of the tube filled with oil, making it the lower hole.
That's probably why you were able to use so much fluid.

Look how big the AFE is and I only used 5 1/4 quarts.
And that site glass needs to be just filled with oil and it's pretty low on the cover.
And I have topped of the diff twice now almost finished the sixth quart.

You're probably right. I will probably open the plugs and drain it out to the bottom hole. That would put it about mid level.
