Ford Pass no longer starting/locking/unlocking truck

Anyone have this issue with Ford Pass and if so what was the fix? I’ve tried logging out and back in, even tried deleting and reinstalling the app. This is on an iPhone.

Yes...I am also having this issue for over two months now and my truck is going back in for service yet once again. They’ve already replaced the TCU (Telecommunication Unit) and still not working. I’ve been on the phone with Ford and the people from the FordPass department and they tell me that engineers are still looking into it which I think is total BS. I’ve uninstalled the app, removed and added the vehicle back into app. I’ve also done master resets on the truck which just erases all your settings which sucks. I’ve also remove the connections from battery for over 30 minutes and that did nothing. I have my wife’s 2018 Explorer setup through the FordPass app and everything works fine on hers...never a problem with it. Did you also notice that your truck isn’t sending back any current information as well like how much gas left in tank, air pressure in tires, location, etc. Keep me posted if you figure out a resolution/fix for this before I do and vise versa.

Yeah it looks like it has not updated since the first of the year.

I’m making an appointment tomorrow for a front diff leak, I suppose I’ll have to add this to the list.

Yes, tried logging out and back in and reinstalling the app. No dice.

My ford pass vehicle location stopped working for a few days. I tried logging out and deleting the app and nothing worked. Then after 3 days it started working on its own.

Have you tried a master reset? You’ll have to set up the truck again with your app, but it may be worth the hassle.

Also try just restarting your phones as a “hard reset”. Full power down/off and then a fresh startup. I have had luck doing that with the app not working and then it’s as if it clears the cache and everything works fine again.

App isn’t working this morning. Maybe it’s how Ford manages or hosts the app?

I checked and can do multiple functions with Fordpass. Are you sure this isn’t a localized issue? Ex; if you’re on wifi, turn it off on the phone and retry if you have a solid cell signal, or vice versa.

if no cell around, reboot the wifi router if possible.
