No, brand b failed because their engineers are entirely too impressed with their own abilities. You do have to give them credit though, their vehicles are very “microsoft-like” in that you can be running fine and then you get the automotive equivalent of the blue screen of death. If your brakes go out? it could be the literal blue screen of death.
