Well I got my truck back from the servicing dealer and it seems to have cured the steering wheel vibration I was feeling. I would have gotten the truck back sooner, but the tech accidently broke an oil pressure sensor during the axle replacement and it wasn't a part they had on hand. If any of you are having this done I would bring that to the attention of the service manager. Call me crazy but I don't remember my original diff cover looking like this or having a drain plug...

I just had pinion bearings replaced twice, first set had scouring so they replaced them. somewhat fixed my issue but not totally, I did not get the updated diff cover. mine is still stamped steel.

Interesting. Definitely not what was on there originally. However, it’s what should have been on there in the first place. Wonder if they have a matching rear differential cover now aside from purchasing the Ford Performance or Dana Spicer cover?
