I was hoping for a little more hp but the torque numbers are sweet!! Not to mention how useable the power is. This is going to be an awesome engine!! Can't wait to see what the MPGs are...

I have the Taurus SHO and love the EcoBoost engine. I look forward to other applications of this technology!

Just imagine what this 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine, rated at 365 horsepower with 420 pounds-feet of torque on regular fuel, would do in an all-new Jeep-killing Bronco! What a great powerplant for a Jeep-killer

Those torque ratings beat out all but the new 6.2-liter V-8, available on the top-of-the-line F-150 and base 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty and the EcoBoost’s torque ratings are better than the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V-8s in the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the 5.7-liter V-8 in the 2011 Ram 1500, the 5.7-liter V-8 in the 2011 Toyota Tundra and the 5.6-liter V-8 in the 2011 Nissan Titan.

The Dodge Hemi in their pickups is, I believe, rated at about 400 HP and 410 lb-feet of torque so the EcoBoost V-6 is a serious threat to that motor as well

That is kinda weak considering what ford had been saying.

still lots of headroom for improvements.
