Ford dealership scammers

I recently blew engine on my 2011 raptor. has a pro charger supercharger tuned at 650hp 6lb boost. truck has 100,000 km on it and in mint condition. the dealership could not find a used 6.2 (so they said) as I could afford $6000. they told me they could install a long block. for n$17000. I could not afford that b. they wiggled price down to $14000. I told them I could give them $8 or $9000. and would take a month or 2 to pay the rest. they smiled , shook hands with finance manager, no problem were easy to deal with they said. so I agreed. then as time went on they became arrogant with me like saying what do you want greg when I would check in. they never called me as they said, I would always have to call them. when the truck was done, I went in with $11,000 and the service manager said sounds great. finance guy came out who verbally told me they would work with me at the beginning and said no way. we are not letting it go unless you have all the money! 3 days earlier they offered me $30,000 for it and I pay for the engine. a $60,000 truck! I said pound sand! when they refu8sed to keep there word, I told them to get that f'n engine out of my truck. they refused! and told me to leave the dealership! I'm almost violently angry trying to regroup and attempt to negotiate again on Monday! I never signed a thing. it was shady with a lot of open ends right from the start! so pissed!! shady pos!! id love to sell it now, the whole experience has been awful. I bought the truck with my disability award money from veterans affairs as I have severe ptsd and on a permanent disability. now I don't even have the truck to sell. not sure what to do man

Sorry to hear that man. But without anything in writing , you will be on the losing here .

Dealers are business and all of the people work there for money and will do anything to max out their profit. I don’t trust any dealership. Everything I deal with them, I have them write on paper.

Just a side story. In 2015, I took my brand new R8 in the Audi dealer for the 1st oil change . When I pick it up, there’s is “wall swipe” mark on the rear bumper . The dealer refuse to take any responsibility. I let all of those morons yep there mouth, write it down as they checked everything before they took it in and it’s me that tried to scam them etc ...
I pull out my phone to record the conversation, the manager guy even yell at me and even try to call a few other over to move me out of his office and even tried to call local PD as I’m harassing them .

This is a $150k car and yes, it’s how I was treated. I was angry and may have said things that were not professional but it’s because I lost my cool. I left the car at the dealer , I care back the next day with my lawyer. My lawyer told the owner / GM there read over the case, give him contact of the legal department because before I leave the car with the dealer and the service guy drove it away. I videos and took the pic of all around the car right at the dealer on that day with dealer background on it, some photos even got some people who were there that day et. which I did not let them know .

The GM broke down and almost cry and begging that he would lose his job over this along with the service manager and one of the guy in the service and the tech. Etc . He admit that the tech service guy accidentally scrape the car on to the lift or something like that and will fix at no cost now. It’s too late for that . I asked them, you were the one that threaten to kick me out of this dealer for harassment you and that I lied and try to get a $150k car to fix for free etc..

Anyways , long story short , Audi corporate made it right. The owner / group owner or whatever at this dealer made it really right so I can drop the lawsuit and won’t pursuit it . Basically a big settlement. I won’t get into detail here But I have never felt sorry if those morons got fired or whatever .

my advise , lawyer up now , you need someone to fight for you as lawyer maybe able to get you out of this fairly . I’m away, you can always base on the fact you never agree to have them to work on the truck either. Good luck man

Nothing in your description indicates they agreed to let you have the truck until you paid 14k. Sounds like they might give you a couple of months which is nice of them...especially without any signed paperwork. You said you had 100km on your vehicle so you must not be from the USA. Not sure how dealerships work in other countries but usually there is a work order provided or some other kind of paperwork. Perhaps a misunderstanding based on a purely verbal conversation? I agree with others that there are so many things that don't add up in this story. Simple internet search reveals plenty of 6.2L crate engines available...here's one for 6k https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP750108. Thank you for your service, sorry to hear of your PTSD but I'm not buying the story as currently told. Please provide more specifics so we can tie the loose ends together to make sense of this senseless mess.
