No option for a callback number on the online chat. Said I’d have to wait 26 mins.
I sent a complaint to the dealer on their contact form.

People have lost all patience in 2020. I call it the microwave popcorn society. If they can have it done in 3 minutes they are tic'd. And it's not really just 2020.

It wasn’t 3 minutes, it was 26+ and I got logged off somehow then it said try again later. WTH.
This is an online chat from Ford customer care, should expect better results.
Would not have had this problem in the first place had their parts counter grabbed the part I requested using their motorcraft part #.

I agree w Winchester30, this has nothing to do with today’s instant gratification culture. Customer service is a thing of the past b/c the overwhelming majority of the population has allowed corporations to get away with it.

Why on earth would you chat if you could talk to an actual person instead? Most of the time I try chat for customer support I get a bot that's worse than useless. I've pretty much given up on chat. The guy I talked to from Ford spoke English, and spoke it well. He lives in Houston. That was refreshing.
