Can’t argue w that - problem is usually you have to hit 14 different prompts, to then wait on hold for 45 min, and if you’re lucky enough for an actual human to pick up, they aren’t in the US and don’t speak English worth a damn

As stated above, customer service in all shapes and form is a thing of the past b/c corporations can get away with it.

It wasn’t 3 minutes, it was 26+ and I got logged off somehow then it said try again later. WTH.
This is an online chat from Ford customer care, should expect better results.
Would not have had this problem in the first place had their parts counter grabbed the part I requested using their motorcraft part #.
So, they should have known you were more important than the people they were already helping.

I agree w Winchester30, this has nothing to do with today’s instant gratification culture. Customer service is a thing of the past b/c the overwhelming majority of the population has allowed corporations to get away with it.
Since we have COVID employers are not running at full staff. Each state, city, employer have their own mandates on people working.

I agree, but does not stop me from providing exceptional customer service and paying attention to details.

I have to jump in and give MHO. Lack of customer service has been declining way before our COVID outbreak. They're just using that as a crutch now. I agree that they are assisting with reduced resources. However, their approach and their lack of empathy does not help. If they cared, they'd take your phone number and call back in the order it was received. However, most are not even offering that, and if by chance they do, they rarely call back. Car dealerships, as a whole, are lacking customer service. I'm experiencing the same issue here locally.

My dealerships service sucks. Ford customer service was great. Unfortunately, the two are only loosely connected.
