Ford building 2,600 Raptors per month???

Believe what you want, but I've spent a lot of time looking through a lot of data. I did make raptorfinder.com after all.

Just for an example my truck still shows up on cars.com with dealer pics. I bought it a month ago.

If you guys want to take a chance on finding the one you want at a great deal go for it. There have only been 5 made that match what I want so I didn't want to risk it and paid a bit over MSRP when my order sat for 6 months with no VIN. Even if every single one on cars.com were for sale none of them are spec'd the way I want them. Doesn't really help if they're selling for invoice if it's not what I want, but that's just me.

Raptorfinder calms my angst. A few like mine, but none listed for sale. Even if dropped couple options, can't find one. A few months back, I might have paid little over MSRP for one configured close to mine. With model year ending 7/2, it can't be that much longer even if last one made....well it can't be last one made as they auctioned that one off for charity.....so going to wait it out like others.

I'm in the same boat. Would love to have a truck now, but not willing to pay ADM or compromise on what I want in the truck. 5 months will fly by before we know it (which is when I expect 2018's will start delivering).

So honest question, are you not worried that you'll order a 2018 whenever the order banks open and then end up waiting months because of the whole allocation nonsense? Unless they change things there's zero guarantee of when yours will be built. Even if you find an honest dealer who will sell at MSRP and give you their first allocation it can still take awhile at least based on what happened in 2017.

My dealer has people coming in all the time asking if they van get a raptor. My salesman said they are trying to buy them from other dealers. He said they could sell 50 more easily. When I parked mine after looking it over on Saturday, he had people asking if it was for sale.

So honest question, are you not worried that you'll order a 2018 whenever the order banks open and then end up waiting months because of the whole allocation nonsense? Unless they change things there's zero guarantee of when yours will be built. Even if you find an honest dealer who will sell at MSRP and give you their first allocation it can still take awhile at least based on what happened in 2017.

You read my mind....if my order isn't pulled by time MY18 order banks open in early May, I may do just that. Also would depend on colors in MY18......Avalanche may end and may not like Leadfoot if different. Too many variables......

same happened to me I went to dealership to get carpet matts from parts dept; had 2 separate people plus a guy with his son wanted to go for a test drive. I said no I'm not a sales guy here.

I do NOT believe those figures of the built Raptors; wither they are sitting in a lot again like we seen in December or the figures are not correct. My dealership says he still has a list of people in line and when he gets the truck it is sold right away

You don't have to believe it, but it would be just based on you not wanting to. Those figures come from a scan of every possible VIN against the Ford ETIS system of which is a complete superset of everything that has ever been listed publicly online. They're correct.

What price is he willing to pay? If the number is right I could find him at least a handful no problem.

sorry I guess i should have been clear with what I was referring to; Yes those built numbers maybe correct but how many are here in USA or going to Middle east etc. I live in the Phila area; I have seen 2 other 17 Raptors ( 1 actually lives near me (Phila Flyers guy) I think if these numbers are being produced/shipped and sold to USA market we would be seeing more on the road. So what is the total produced so far? does anyone have this figure yet?
