I've had the alert come on several times, but it has never braked for me. It gives false alarms when someone is turning right and I don't slow down because I know the car will be out of the way by the time I reach the intersection. But maybe I've never reached a "stage 2 alert" where it detects an imminent collision.

Man, I thought it was just me but I've had this same thing happen several times. Good to know it's the 'system' doing this. Kind of freaks you out the first time.

My 2018 loaded Raptor does not have collision avoidance. Ford and my dealer say that it is not available on the Raptor. Am I being sold a bill of goods?

dealer is correct, the new adaptive cruise and collision avoidance systems on the 2018 F-150s did not make it to the Raptor. I assume this is because the Raptor did not get the new "nose job".
