The grill looks like it's wearing a nose ring; matches the Ecoboost.

I believe the Atlas incorporates design features that will be used by the F150 and the Super Duty trucks (not necessarily by them all).

Keep in mind that the pickups represent the most important vehicle (highest selling and most profitable) to Ford and Chevy/GM (and probably to Dodge). The pickup war is now being fought on every possible feature with increased pressure on MPGs (due to gas cost and government CAFE regs) which means vehicle weights need to be reduced while the trucks continue to be towing machines.

Dodge just won pickup of the year. GM/Chevy just introduced their new trucks. Ford gets to respond (next year) with theirs. The battle continues and the consumers get better and better vehicles to choose from.
