For those with custom bumpers, what are you doing with dust shield?

Dumb question but the rubber mat thing that shields the radiator from the skid plate attaches to the stock bumper with clips. Are the people with custom bumpers just removing them or rigging them up some way. Installed my ADD venom this afternoon and am wondering what to do with it.

I rolled mine up with zip ties... But I'm getting a new bumper that requires cutting the frame so I may end up just removing all together... Bump for others input/solutions!

IMO this is an important little part. It helps prevent air from flowing around your cooling system. We ended up using this piece along with some thin plexiglass, some more similar rubber sheeting along with some black duct tape and tried to seal up the sides and the lower section to funnel as much air as we could into the cooling system. Has worked great and helped keep temps down on the cooling system compared to not having it sealed.

Good point. I guess I was looking at it preventing dirt/dust from getting into radiator and not thinking if preventing airflow the other direction. Would help explain Cinejoracer's problem too.

I have the ADD stealth, and I have just left it hanging there for two years. No overheating problems at all. But I do live in the Northeast.
