I read somewhere awhile ago that they are both black, and the main difference are the seat inserts and the stitching color. 801A has bronze stitching; can't remember 800A.

This is purely from memory and may be completely wrong.
It is a shame that there is so much uncertainty here. Build and price should be accurate enough where you know what you are getting when you buy it. Between green looking seats and not being able to know what the interiors are like in different packages, Ford has a long way to go. Makes it super difficult to buy something sight unseen.

Here is the article that mentions it:

I will never ever understand why Ford forces this blue interior..
It's all a matter of taste and some people don't care and others just swallow it for the 37s.. I get it.. but to me it is soooo ugly..
There are a lot of people paid good money to make these design decisions. I don't always agree with the direction, but you can't argue that they aren't selling trucks.

I would appreciate an option though, when spending over $80K on a vehicle.

Well, the purpose of the build and price wasn't exactly put in place so people could more easily put in orders site unseen. It's actually there to get people interested enough to go to the dealership and buy off the lot. Of course, that's not the case for several Ford models these days, since you can't buy them off a lot.

The problem appears to be mostly with lighting, which is a somewhat difficult issue to solve. The environment lighting, angle taken, and camera used have a big impact. it would be nice if they offered the ability to see from more lighting/angles to get a better idea of what you're seeing.

However, I'd also argue that the B&P is good enough for the majority of people who are willing to buy site unseen. Certainly, Ford is selling all they can make, and I would image that most who are concerned about the smaller details are also concerned enough to want to sit and test drive before buying.

Sidenote, I don't know why people are calling the stitching bronze. It's clearly designed to match the orange/red accents on the sides and wheel, which no one thinks of as bronze.

That's exactly my point, nothing wrong with offering a blue interior, as long as the less opinionated black is also an option for the top builds

other manufacturers have no such issues. Go build a vehicle on Mercedes, Range Rover or GM or whatever and it looks exactly like it does in real life.

I’ve only had this issue with Ford and it’s maddening, especially since we have no opportunity to even see these trucks in real life.

Luckily I saw one at the auto show so it just confirms I'm glad with my decision to order

Really?

This was posted on another site I'm a member of. The guy was configuring a new Jeep:

Either there is an issue with the website or it was an extension of Pride month.

Does anyone know if the raptors come with any window tint from factory?
Factory tinted glass (20%) on the back windows like any other truck/SUV/van. It does not block UV rays nor keep the heat from the sun out like a quality window tinting film does. I have always tinted all my truck windows personally.
