Hey Guys,

Got my new Raptor 2019 2m ago love that beast truly marvelous. I recently bought rough country fog lights and i wanted to connect the wiring to the upper auxiliary buttons. The problem is that aux 1 is HOT patched and the lights turn on when i start the engine and i need to make AUX 1 cold (hence turn it on on demand).

The major problem that there is absolutely no wiring diagrams. Ford is pointing me to the F-150 fuse box which is completely different than the 2019 Raptor and no one seems to know how the wiring layout in the GEN 2 2019 (which apparently has changed).

If someone have any experience with the 2019 please let me know, i'm willing to replace the rough country, BTW ive called rough country and they suggested to bypass the fuse box (DUMB IDEA). Their support is really lousy, ill defiantly consider to replace the fog lights with better brand (regardless).

Thanks for you help.

Welcome to FRF Udi.

1) explain how you wired the lights. In detail.
2) Aux1 as well as all the other aux switches do not have power when they’re turned off, but, they only have power when the vehicle is powered on, not necessarily started. If you leave the aux switch on and remote start for example, they have power.

3) there is a raptor owner supplement manual for the Rap which should have come with the truck.

You don’t need to touch anything in the fuse box unless you blow a fuse.
There are 2 sets of wire bundles. You need the hot wires and not the pass through bundle.
The supplement shows you the wire bundle that runs to the aux switches, color coding is accurate for 2019’s.

Search in here and you will find more detail for 2019. It’s been discussed and detailed out.

Just put the BD unlimited light on my 19 and the supplement shows the 17/18 pass through in the hot location. Bit of a hold up on that install. The hot wire are nearer the firewall not the fuse box.

I just put these fog lights on my 2019 Saturday, No problems at all. I did buy the CJ wiring harness. I put outside lights on 3 middle lights on 5 and inside lights on 6.. Took about an hour and a half.. You will find your switches in you Raptor booklet. They also tell you the amp fuzes they are.
