We just finished test fitting our Gen 2 limit strap kit for the stock raptor lower arm. We learned alot when we raced the Gen 2 race truck and tried a couple of different limit strap mounts on that truck and had problems with clearance on the tie rod and even damaged tie rods at one event because the limit strap was contacting the tie rod. Ive seen some other guys copy what we did on the Gen 2 race truck maybe not realizing the design flaws in mounting the limit strap to a tab off of the stock shock bolt. We took the time to re-engineer a solid solution that will work and last long term. The kit bolts to the stock lower arm and also allows you to add a bump stop kit along with it at any time.
