Flowmaster vs magnaflow

TAke off your resonator will sound better inhave a super 10, slightly modded but loud as hell

Is there a way to describe what the resonator delete would do to the sound? Deeper, louder, etc?

I put just a Flowmaster 44 muffler in and kept all the pipes stock. It sounds great and im very happy with it.

The 44 was not an option that my muffler shop had, but looking on the website, it says its the "most aggressive"=loudest. I could definitely go up a notch or two over the super 10 I have.

Is the 44 loud? Mine is very tolerable at highway speeds. Took a 5 hour trip this weekend and didnt even notice it over the road noise.

I left all the other pipes stock too. Even though I could tolerate something louder, I am happy with what I have, but I have a buddy looking for something louder. Let me know if I should recommend the 44 to him.

I just installed a Magnaflow directly behind the stock resonator. Then a single exit to dual angled twin tips exited to the side in front of the rear tire. Looks awesome and sounds perfect at low RPM.
But, when I get on it, I hear that obnoxious air sound as loud as the exhaust note.
What is causing that air sound?

I've done custom exhaust on all my V8 trucks and never had this air sound.

Installed a magnaflow the same length as stock muffler and got a tad more rumble and no resonance. Perfect volume but I'm looking for louder. Gona switch to a shorter magnaflow and I'll post go pro video footage soon.
