Sadly I did not stop to take any photos while I was out flogging the Rental truck off road. I just spent the last 6 days in Vega's 3 for a trade show and 3 for me. So I thought why not rent a F-150 4x4 (since they don't rent RAPTORs) and go out and play on some Nevada back roads that I read about on here. You guys who live out there have some kick @$$ back roads. I did manage to drive the crud out of the 2011 F-150. It doesn't run off road quite like my Raptor but I was "Fairly impressed" with its off road manors. I went north out of Vegas on I-15 to Great Basin Hwy and then ran past Coyote Springs until I came to Kane Springs Road that is where I split from the pavement and hit the rocks and dirt. Spent about 4 hours running all over the area the first day on the maintained dirt and unmaintained dirt roads. After the first day of playing my Black rental was dirt and black two tone. Days two and three the truck faired about the same other than some ops marks down the side of the truck. Needless to say next time I come out I need to get in touch with some of you Vegas area guys and bring my Raptor.
Oh yea I did stop by Team Ford also. They were sold out of Raptors and one of the Sales guys (who just happened to be a Roll Tide fan like me) said that they were six deep on the back order list. They seem to be a nice group of guys there at Team Ford.
Hats off to all you guys who live around Vegas and get to play out there.
