Figured this was probably the right forum to post feedback on the FLATED Air-Topper in for those considering this along with other options.
If you are looking for a removable cap for your truck go for it! Compared to the soft topper I had on my last truck, this thing is so much easier to install (by myself) and remove. Its also a heck of a lot more functional since I can strap a kayak on the top without issue. I like that I don't need to wrestle with all the metal rails and frames if/when I put this thing in storage.
The biggest reason I went with the Flated over others is we have 4 other short bed trucks in our family so I can pop this off my truck and throw it on my dad's Ram or my brothers Chevy in a few minutes. Probably wouldn't have gotten a cap if I was the only one who would be using it but between hunting, fishing, and boating season, it'll get used quite a bit.
Install took about 30 minutes with inflation. I thought the topper would look goofy on the truck (like a raft strapped to the bed) but it looks pretty sweet. I'm going to figure out a way to throw some strip LEDs inside as it gets pretty dark at night and the OEM bed lights suck but overall I really like how this cap turned out.
