Correct. You need a supplemental braking system, you need to tag into your lighting. You'll need a tow bar and a baseplate. It's involved. We flat tow our Jeep behind our motorhome. It is definitely an investment.

Ya I am eyeballing one of our kids Mini Cooper right now for tow duties. I was at a campsite the other day and saw someone was flat towing one. Either that or crossing fingers the new Ford Bronco can be flat towed IF it ever comes out. After my last experience with Fiat...oops I mean Dodge, I will never own another FCA anything so a Jeep is out for me.
