Really ez method is to hang tennis ball from ceiling on string. When it bumps ur windshield u know u r in.

mine fits with about 6” to spare. I crush my stash of paper towels with my front light bar. Lol

Friend of mine is a car buff, especially American muscle, and motorcycles. When he designed a new house he designed it around 5 garages. That was about 15 years ago. I thought he was a complete wacko at the time. Now I’m totally envious and would be sure the garage spaces numbered at least 3 and were big. Priorities ya know.

That looks familiar. I am definitely thankful for that front camera. I had a 2019 Vette before the Raptor with front cameras and I used them every time I parked.

I had to buy the Super Cab Raptor in order for it to in my garage. It's still tight, but I installed a car stop to be precise to the wall and not go over. Works perfect!

In your picture of the garage door you have, it appears you have hurricane bracing that runs laterally across each section of the garage door. Are these screwed into the garage with self-tapping screws? Mine are. If so, just remove only the braces that are below your rear bumper. Probably 2 or possibly 3 braces at most. These braces are probably 2" thick. Mine are 3" thick. Then when you move out of the house, just put them back on the garage. They are only on the garage door for hurricane wind reinforcement. Its a Florida code that all garage OEMs must provide them for garage wind pressure.

So I checked into this today and, while the bracing is indeed held on with screws, the track rollers are mounted directly to these braces.

Unfortunately I think I have a new driveway ornament until I move somewhere else. Did the measurements prior to purchase, 231.9" depth and the truck is 234.9". Figured it would be tight but didn't envision this. I worry the garage door is going to shift and get caught on the back bumper once it's inside. I could probably gently rest the front bumper on the wall and gain maybe an inch in the back.

Anyone park day in, day out in a space this tight? If so, you guys have any tricks on how I can park perfectly 100% of the time that won't take 5 minutes of inching up, getting out to check, etc?

My concern is mainly with theft, not so much the vehicle, but sometimes I'm absent minded and will leave my wallet in the car, forget to lock it...

Yikes to tight for me, i just know there would be a time i would be in a hurry and not check to be sure I’m fully in the garage, then close the door only to scrape the bumper or something.
